Rosemary Orozco Biography
Rosemary Orozco is an American meteorologist working at KTVU in Oakland California. Her first choice career was law but her interest in the news made her proceed into the field of broadcast journalism.
She started her career as a news anchor and reporter at KLBC TV2 in 1998 and is now a TV meteorologist at KTVU Fox2. She began working for the network as a news anchor and journalist in November 1998. After barely three years at KLBC, she left in April 2000 to join KEYT Station in Santa Barbara, California.
She also worked for KEYT for seven years and nine months before joining Fox 40 News as a meteorologist and show host in January 2008. after three years at Fox40 News, she left in January 2011 to join KTVU Fox2.
Before becoming a full-time journalist, Rosemary Orozco worked as a TV program host, super lotto plus announcer for the California State Lottery, an actress, and a paralegal. She’s been with the station since then, and she’s enjoyed it. As a meteorologist AM on 2, she headlines KTVU’s weekend program. It runs from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
