Judy Hsu is an Asian-American News anchor working at ABC 7 News in Chicago, USA. Her main role is to present the #1 news station in Chicago’s top-rated 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscasts.
She has been a part of almost every significant story in Chicago during her time at ABC 7, whether reporting from the streets or anchoring from the news desk. Judy also brought ABC7 viewers full coverage of her one-on-one chat with President Barack Obama just before he departed the Oval Office, which she reported live from the White House.
Her on-air work has earned her many Emmys, notably for her work on ABC 7’s programming specials Asian Influences, and the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival, as well as for breaking news coverage. She has been nominated for nearly two dozen Emmys, including “Outstanding Performance” as a news anchor.
She previously worked at KFMB-TV in San Diego, where she anchored the 4 p.m. weekday program. Judy previously worked for KFMB as a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter.
