Dani Beckstrom is an American news anchor and meteorologist from Florida who anchors for KTNV-TV. Dani joined KTNV’s team of meteorologists in June 2019 after years of covering hurricanes at our Scripps sister station in Fort Myers, FL.

Beckstrom joined the KTNV meteorology team in June 2019 following years of storm coverage at our Scripps sister station in Fort Myers, FL. She is looking forward to escaping the heat and humidity of Las Vegas.

Dani accepted her first weather position in Eastern Idaho after college, where she also reported and spent some time on the anchor desk throughout the week. Despite having had experiences ranging from interviewing Mitt Romney to being asked to join the local roller derby squad.

She discovered that the weather is where she feels most at ease. She subsequently accepted a morning weather position in her hometown of Boise, Idaho, and opted to return to school to obtain her meteorological certification from Mississippi State University, which she completed in August 2018.

As much as she liked forecasting weather in her hometown, she is eager for her next adventure forecasting hurricanes rather than snowstorms! She’s most excited to see all Florida has to offer and spend the entire weekend lounging on the beach.
