Just a Breath, Battistelli’s debut album as an independent artist, was released in 2004. In early 2008, she released the I’m Letting Go EP on Fervent Records exclusively on iTunes, which included four tracks, including the title tune. My Paper Heart, her debut big label studio album, was released on July 22, 2008, and featured all four tracks.

The CD was produced by Dove Award winner Ian Eskelin and distributed by Word Distribution. On July 15, 2008, her debut radio song, “I’m Letting Go,” was released. By May 30, 2008, the song has risen to the top 20 on R&R’s Christian CHR charts.

The song peaked at No. 10 on the Christian CHR charts in early July 2008. Battistelli’s third studio album was released on April 22, 2014. On June 1, 2015, She then released “Future” exclusively for Pizza Ranch. Ian Eskelin produced the song, which was written by Battistelli and Casey Brown.

She performed with Bethel Music in late 2016 and was featured on two songs from their 2017 record, Starlight. Greatest Hits: The First Ten Years was published in late 2017. Battistelli released “The Breakup Song,” the first single off her fourth studio album, Own It, on June 15, 2018. On October 12, 2018, the second single, “This Could Change Everything,” was released.
