Chip Yost is an American journalist, reporter, and news anchor who currently works for KTLA News as their Orange County Bureau Chief. He has been a member of the KTLA crew since 2007 and has spent his time at the station covering just about every topic.

Yost has covered many stories and won numerous awards while working for KTLA including the Orange County Press Club award for Best Investigative Story in the online video category. He exposed a business that was not fulfilling its customer’s orders.

In addition, he received an Emmy for a story in which he was tasked with tracking down fugitives from the Colorado Department of Corrections. Chip served as an investigative and general assignment reporter for television stations in Denver (KUSA-TV), Tucson (KOLD-TV), Yuma (KYMA-TV), and San Diego (KYMA-TV) before joining KTLA.
