Vanessa Murdock is an American news journalist working as a reporter and meteorologist for CBS 2 in New York as a weekend morning Meteorologist and weekday Reporter. She initially worked at WTKR in Norfolk, Virginia as a weather forecaster. 

Vanessa has been working at CBS 2 as a weekend morning Meteorologist and a weekday Reporter. She joined the CBS 2 Weather team in October 2011 from where she was working at a CBS affiliate station in Norfolk, Virginia, WTKR.

Before joining WTKR in Norfolk, Vanessa worked at ABC and Fox-affiliate local TV stations in Charlottesville, Virginia as an evening weather anchor. She became a member of CBS News Channel 3 in June 2006 after she served as a morning meteorologist.
