Ty Steele is an American journalist, reporter, and news anchor who currently works at KCRA as a morning reporter and news anchor. Prior to working as a morning anchor for KCRA, he worked as an evening anchor and has admitted to having to resort to coffee in order to adapt to his new daily routine.

Steele’s first TV job was as a multimedia journalist at Oregon’s KVAL. He quickly rose through the ranks of the station’s weekend anchor, because to his zeal for uncovering the truth and reporting distinctive and essential stories.

He was promoted to nighttime anchor at the company’s second station, the NBC affiliate KMTR, after two years. Thereafter he joined KTXL in California before finally settling in at KCRA where he works t0 date.
