Naveen transitioned from her role as a speech pathologist to pursue further education. In February 2018, she became a reporter for Eyewitness News, fulfilling her career aspirations.
Before her time at WABC, Naveen served as a morning program anchor/reporter at News 12 Westchester, where she faced demanding tasks such as covering severe weather events and the tragic MTA train incident in Valhalla in 2015.
Her journey in the media industry commenced at WETM-TV in Elmira, New York, where she took on roles as an anchor, reporter, and producer. Notably, she extensively covered the Binghamton American Civic Association shooting in 2009.
