Tenoch Huerta Biography
Tenoch Huerta is a Mexican actor. He has featured in a variety of films in Latin America and Spain, including feature films and short films. He is one of the performers included in Mónica Maristain’s book 30 Mexican Actors.
Huerta embarked on his acting journey in 2006 with a minor role in the film “Asi del precipicio.”
His acting career saw him take on a range of characters, from Carlos Mamami in “The 33” alongside notable stars like Antonio Banderas, James Brolin, and Juliette Binoche to Alejo in “Camino” with Zoe Bell, Nacho Vigalondo, Sheila Vand, and Kevin Pollak.
A Brush with James Bond
Huerta’s talent also earned him a role in the James Bond film “Spectre,” where he portrayed a Mexican man in a memorable elevator scene alongside stars like Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz, and Naomie Harris.
In 2009, he tackled the character of Li’l Mago, the leader of the Tapachula section of the violent Mara Salvatrucha gang, in Cary Joji Fukunaga’s film “Sin Nombre.”

Netflix’s “Narcos: Mexico”
His acting prowess continued to shine as he took on the role of Rafael Caro Quintero in Netflix’s “Narcos: Mexico” in 2018.
In 2021, Huerta graced the screen as Juan in “The Forever Purge,” the fifth installment of “The Purge” franchise. He shared the spotlight with co-star Alejandro Edda, as well as Ana de la Reguera, Josh Lucas, Cassidy Freeman, and Will Patton.
Tenoch joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with his portrayal of Namor, making his debut in the film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” (2022).
