Tanya McRae is an American award-winning television producer, news reporter, and two-time Emmy Award winner, who currently works at Spectrum News 1 as a reporter and news anchor. In addition, she is also the host of “In Focus SoCal”.

McRae currently works at Spectrum 1 News as a reporter as well as a news anchor. While at the station, she has covered numerous stories, from local news to national news.

Tanya began her career in television at ABC’s working at both their “World News Tonight” and “Nightline” in New York. While in New York, she worked on the station’s assignment desks. She subsequently went on to work at the local WPIX station before going on to produce one of many programs for Lifetime Television, the chat show “New Attitudes.”
