Sylvia Perez is an American news journalist, producer, speaker, and media coach. She works for WFLD-TV (FOX 32) as a news anchor for Good Day Chicago on weekdays editions and special segments. Before joining FOX 32, Sylvia worked at WLS-TV (ABC 7) as a news anchor. 

Perez began her career at WLS TV Chicago as an anchor and health reporter. She anchored the 11 am newscast alongside Linda Yu. She also reported daily health and medical investigative stories for the 4 pm and 10 pm newscasts.

Sylvia also worked at KPRC-TV in Houston as a weekend co-anchor and medical reporter. She joined FOX 32 News in 2016. She works as the news anchor for Good Day Chicago on weekdays editions and special segments.
