DeMarco Morgan is an American news journalist currently working for KCBS on West Coast as the weekday morning anchor for CBS2 News This Morning. Before joining CBS, Morgan worked at WXIA-TV in Atlanta as a reporter and co-anchor of the station’s 5, 6, and 11 p.m. weekday newscasts. 

Morgan previously worked at WXIA-TV in Atlanta, where he spent three years as a reporter and co-anchor of the station’s 5, 6, and 11 p.m. weekday newscasts.

He also served as a weekend anchor for WNBC-TV in New York while also serving as a cut-in anchor for MSNBC, worked as a weekday evening anchor and reporter at WJTV-TV in Jackson, Mississippi, WISN-TV in Milwaukee, and WTVJ-TV in Miami.

While at CBS2, he secured an exclusive interview with U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch on community policing, was the first journalist on the air for the Network anchoring a special report on the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, delivered a series of reports on the nation’s heroin epidemic, and covered the funeral of Aretha Franklin.
