Stella Escobedo is an American news journalist currently working for CBS 8, KFMB as a morning anchor. Before joining CBS 8, Stella worked at KGUN, an affiliate of ABC as an evening news anchor and reporter. 

She joined NEWS 8’s morning team after working shortly as the West Coast correspondent for CBS Newspath in Los Angeles.

Before moving back to California, she served at KGUN 9 in Tucson, Arizona, where she anchored evening newscasts and covered major breaking news stories. She was also the morning anchor and live reporter for KTVK’s Good Morning Arizona in Phoenix.

Stella began her career at KXLF in Butte, Montana, and then made her way back to Palm Springs, CA where she worked for KESQ and KPSP.
