Stacey worked for a little unknown network in Pittsburgh from 1997 until 1999.
She worked as a producer for WFMZ TV until 2000 after quitting that position.
Stacey temporarily worked as a producer, anchor, and reporter for WVVA-TV in Bluefield, West Virginia, from 2000 to 2001.

Stacey began working as an anchor for WBRE-daily TV’s morning and lunchtime newscasts in 2000. She was also in charge of the noon cast. She was moved to weekend anchor in early 2001. In this capacity, she was able to host multiple telethons for both the Let’s Make A Wish Foundation and the Children’s Miracle Network.

Stacey departed that position in 2004 to serve as the Weekend Morning Anchor for NBC 10 (WCAU-TV). She held this position for eight years before stepping down in July of 2012. She went on to work as a general reporter for NBC 10 and Fox 29 News. From 2012 until 2014, she worked as a freelance journalist.

It was revealed in January 2014 that she will be the new QVC host. Her yoga instructor in New York, who conducted part-time modeling for the QVC network, first told her about the job in 2013. She knew Stacey was unemployed and advised she apply for a QVC presenting position.
