Sheldon Haygood is an American news journalist currently working for FOX6 WBRC as a sports reporter and anchor. He initially worked at WNCF TV in Montgomery, Alabama as a sports anchor.
Haygood began his career at KMID-TV in Midland, Texas as a reporter and weekend anchor. He moved to Lubbock as Sports Director then later at WHOA-TV (now WNCF-TV) in Montgomery, Alabama. Sheldon joined WBRC FOX 6 in 1994 initially as a Sports Reporter and anchor.
He co-hosted the high school football show SIDELINE on Friday nights. In 2019, he transitioned to a news anchor and reporter. He anchors at Good Day Alabama in the morning and the noon newscasts.
