Rick Adams is an English online radio DJ and television presenter who currently works at The Weather Channel as a freelance reporter at America’s Morning Headquarters.
While at AOL News, Adams aired Radio KOL, the first-ever live radio show for youngsters aged 6 to 15 years old. He kept listeners amused with celebrity guests and a variety of games.
Rick reported on November 23, 2007, that AOL was intending to kill Radio KOL, and on November 28, 2007, Radio KOL broadcasted its final show. Over 500 fans, listeners, KOL staff, and celebrities signed a petition initiated by dedicated fans, but on February 13, 2008, AOL shut down all of its live video streams.
Adams formerly presented CBS’ KOL Secret Slumber Party TV series Dance Revolution, which was based on the hit video game franchise Dance Dance Revolution, during the 2006-07 television season. The show only lasted one season.
