Rebecca was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer, and she told People that Terry took care of her right away. The actress had a pre-cancerous lump removed from her right breast in 2008, and her mother also had a cancerous lump removed from her breast in 2019.
To remove the cancerous cells, the Blueberry actress underwent a double mastectomy followed by reconstructive surgery, and she is now cancer-free. She advises other women to get regular cancer screenings because early detection saves lives.
