Rachel Wolfson Interview

Here is one of Rachels’ interviews for you to get to know her better courtesy of 24ssports.com;

She told IndieWire that she thought she was being pranked after Johnny Knoxville contacted her on Instagram.

Rachel Wolfson grew up watching “Jackass” and putting their own take on pals’ pranks. Years later, as a well-known comedian, YouTuber, and podcaster known for her “cannabis humor,” Johnny Knoxville approached her via Instagram to join his cast in “Jackass Forever.” She gladly accepts, but never forgets her guiding mantra: I’m alright as long as I’m not the one sobbing.

Wolfson achieved his aim after one lip-licker and a swarm of lip-biting scorpions. She is Jackass, and she is overjoyed with the task. She is also the crew’s first official female member, and she appears in the fourth chapter of the “Jackass” franchise with Sean “Poopies” McInerny, Jasper Dolphin, Zach Holmes, and Eric Manaka.

Before we started, I told her I was doing the interview from the bathroom of my apartment (the radiator was under repair and it was the quietest place). She didn’t even blink. “It really was the perfect place to do a ‘Jackass’ interview,” she said. “This is good for the brand.”

My first question is probably the one that people have been asking you for months: How did this happen?

One day in 2019, I noticed that Johnny Knoxville likes a bunch of my stuff on Instagram, all my jokes, and he’s super supportive of the content I’m putting out. My boyfriend at the time didn’t even like all that stuff on Instagram. So I said, “Why does Knoxville Support more than you? ”

Not long after that, I got a direct message from Johnny Knoxville, and I said, “Is this really happening? Is this a joke? ” And texts like, “Hey, you want to call me on the phone? I want to talk to you about a few things. ” I can not believe it. So I got on the phone with him and sure enough, it was the real Johnny Knoxville, the voice I’ve heard for years, growing up in my living room.

At first he didn’t reveal it was a movie, he said it was a special anniversary and it had something to do with “Jackass”. As soon as I heard “Jackass,” I said, “Whatever this is, I want to be a part of it.” He suggested that I go see him and [director] Jeff Tremaine, and I still don’t believe it.

At first, I thought, “I’m definitely going to get pranked here,” but it was like a literal five-minute meeting, and that’s when they told me they were going to shoot a movie. They were basically like, “Do you want to come play with us?” I still don’t know what that means, but I do know that I want to be a part of it. Read More….
