Miya Cech is a Japanese-born American actress widely known for playing the role of Zu in the movie adaptation of The Darkest Minds. She has also starred in the Netflix original Rim of the World as ZhenZhen, Always Be My Maybe as Sasha, and The Thundermans among other films.

Cech began her career in acting by appearing in the film Hawaii Five-0 as Young Kono Kalakaua in 2015. She then starred in The Thundermansas the
Ice Cream Kid and later in Hand of God as a Little Girl in 2015. Her most famous role is Zu in the movie adaptation of The Darkest Minds.

In 2019, Cech was cast as 12-year-old Young Sasha in the Netflix romantic film Always Be My Maybe. She has also starred in the Netflix original Rim of the World as ZhenZhen and The Thundermans among other films.
