Mike Cernovich is an American political analyst, conspiracy theorist, and alt-right social media figure. He has been a regular host of InfoWars’ far-right The Alex Jones Show. In the 2000s, he became a blogger, focused on anti-feminist topics.
In 2004, Cernovich launched the Crime & Federalism legal blog, where he writes on law from a libertarian standpoint. Cernovich’s early writings focused on antifeminism, men’s empowerment, and meeting women. Soon after his divorce in 2011, he launched the blog Danger & Play, where he discussed men’s rights, health, and self-help topics.
The title of Risk & Play was inspired by a Friedrich Nietzsche quote: “The true man craves two things: danger and pleasure. As a result, he sees women as the most lethal toy. On his site, he posted such dubious claims as “The Orlando Shooter Did Not Act Alone”, and listed “16 Feminists” he says “Have Taken Over ‘Conservative’ Media'”.
