Michelle was born in Italy to Bob Beadle, a former Valero Energy executive, and Serenella Paladino. She spent the first half of her youth in Roanoke, Texas, just outside of Dallas, and the second in Boerne, a tiny town near San Antonio.

Her mother was her greatest friend growing up, she claimed, because her mother did not know English when she arrived to America and they had to learn it together. Growing up, she was a tomboy with only male companions. She completed her high school education at Boerne High School.

She studied political science as a pre-law student at the University of Texas in Austin. She eventually joined a law firm and worked in the Texas Capitol, which helped her decide against pursuing a legal career.

Michelle joined ESPN on June 1, 2009, as co-host of SportsNation alongside Colin Cowherd, which debuted on ESPN2 on July 6, 2009. Beadle was one of the last 142 persons to audition for SportsNation. ESPN contacted her again and asked her to write about how she would improve the show.

She created “a snarky list of ten foolish things” thinking it was a joke, which helped her get the job. Prior to co-hosting SportsNation, Beadle worked as a freelance reporter for ESPN’s Titan Games during her tenure at TNN.
