Mckenna Grace is a young American actress and singer She began acting professionally at the age of six, with her earliest roles including Jasmine Bernstein in the Disney XD sitcom Crash & Bernstein.
Grace made her acting debut in 2013 as Sydney in the television pilot Joe, Joe, & Jane. She later appeared in the Disney XD sitcom Crash & Bernstein. Between 2013 and 2015, she appeared as Faith Newman on The Young and the Restless.
She had a recurring role on the CBS series CSI: Cyber in 2015. Grace plays Daisy in Roland Emmerich’s science fiction movie Independence Day: Resurgence, which was released on June 24, 2016. Other early film appearances include Mr. Church, a drama, and How to Be a Latin Lover, a comedy.
Grace co-starred with Chris Evans in the Marc Webb drama thriller Gifted in 2017. She was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Young Performer for her work in the part.
She trained to ice skate in order to play a younger version of Tonya Harding in the biopic I, Tonya, which she described as the “hardest part” she’d ever taken on. Grace also co-starred with Bella Thorne in the horror thriller Amityville: The Awakening, which was directed by Franck Khalfoun.
Grace played Sabrina Spellman’s younger self in the second season of Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. She played a younger Daphne Blake in the 2020 animated feature Scoob!, and she is expected to reprise the role in the follow-up Scoob!: Holiday Haunt, which will be released on HBO Max in late 2022.
