Lovy spent most of his life in Nairobi growing up alongside his brother Christian Hulu Longomba. He is from quite a musical family as his father Lovy Longomba Sr. was also a musician and member of a Congolese band called Super Mazembe. His grandfather Vicky Longomba was also a musician.

Lovy lost his brother Christian in March 2021 after suffering from a long illness. He died in Los Angeles at the age of 38.

On July 14, 2016, Elias marked a new chapter by inaugurating fellowships in Van Nuys. His commitment deepened as he assumed the role of head pastor at the Revelation Church of Jesus Christ in 2017. The evolution of the church has been remarkable, surpassing a thousand members and garnering a substantial online following that praises its transformative and “miracle-filled” services.
Elias, not just a spiritual guide but also a celebrity and athlete life coach, extended the reach of his teachings to the digital realm. In 2019, he embraced the power of live-streaming, leveraging platforms like YouTube and Facebook to share his wisdom. In a bold and strategic move on February 7, 2021, Elias orchestrated a relocation, shifting the headquarters and worship center of the Revelation Church of Jesus Christ to Simi Valley, California.
