Justin Hobbs is a talented American news journalist currently working for NBC2 News as a meteorologist. He forecast on weekend evenings. He also worked for ABC 7 before becoming a weekend meteorologist for NBC2 News.

In January of 2022, He joined the NBC2 First Alert Weather team. Mr. Hobbs is no new to Southwest Florida, did spend the year 2021 in Sarasota, just up the coast.

During his final year of college, he began his first career in tv meteorology at the local station in his college town. He went on to become a REALTOR after graduation. Justin left the sector for a short time after 2 1/2 years in Bowling Green to return to Colorado. New changes in the television sector, however, led him to Sarasota in January 2021. His interest in the weather began with a childhood fear. A nighttime tornado swept through his hometown in the early 2000s, coming within 100 yards of Justin’s mobile home. Although his home was spared, the sounds and terror of that night left him scared of storms for years. Before going to school to study meteorology, he turned his fear into a passion in high school.
