Janice began her career in journalism while still a college student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She interned at WBRC and at the local NBC affiliate Channel 13 in Alabam as a videotape editor and general assignment reporter.
She came back to WBRC FOX 6 in 1994 as a news anchor. At that time, the station was being bought by FOX New Corp. and she was made the host of the new show Good Day Alabama. She also produces and co-anchors segments on the show.
