Thompson has contributed to Sky’s coverage of major athletic events such as the US Open Tennis and the A1 Grand Prix, Grand Prix Masters, Speedway World Cup, Race of Champions, America’s Cup, and the 2011 Wimbledon Championships. She was also a presenter on Sky Sports News, where she frequently hosted Afternoon Report until December 29, 2011. Thompson also presented Sky1’s Greatest Sporting Legends series in 2005.

Georgi departed Sky Sports News on December 29, 2011, to become a Sky Sports F1 presenter.
