Emily Chang is the host and executive producer of Bloomberg Technology, a daily television show focused on global technology, as well as Studio 1.0, where she often interviews important executives, investors, and entrepreneurs.

She worked as a reporter at KNSD, an NBC station in San Diego, California, before joining CNN in 2007. She prepared stories for MSNBC and won five regional Emmy Awards while there. She began her career at NBC in New York as a news producer.

Chang worked as an international reporter for CNN from 2007 to 2010, stationed in Beijing and London. She covered the 2008 Beijing Olympics, China’s economic change and its environmental repercussions, the 2008 South China floods, the aftermath of the 2008 Sichuan earthquake, North Korea’s nuclear ambitions, and President Obama’s historic tour to Asia while in Beijing.

Emily joined Bloomberg Television in 2010. Chang became the host of Bloomberg West, a daily show that incorporates original reporting and interviews with tech newsmakers such as venture capitalists, CEOs, start-up entrepreneurs, and analysts, on February 28, 2011. Bloomberg Technology was rebranded in October 2016.
