Anglin began her journalism career at  KDFW as a news intern. After she had her experience with fellow photographers, reporters, editors, and news anchors, she was ready to take on her career path. She has worked in different stations in New Orleans, Tallahassee, San Francisco, Sacramento, and  San Antonio.
