Cherry Seaborn is a British advisory consultant and a former Hockey Player from Framlingham, United Kingdom. She is best known as the wife of famous English singer Ed Sheeran. It was during her time in high school that she met her future husband.
Cherry had a brief but impactful field hockey career at Duke University in 2013. During that season, she played in 23 out of 24 games, helping her team reach the NCAA championship game. Unfortunately, she was sidelined by an injury after starting the first 21 games of the season.
Her talent also earned her a spot on England’s Under-21 national team for three consecutive years, from 2011 to 2013. Despite her relatively short college career, she continued to excel in the field. One of her notable achievements was contributing to the team’s bronze medal win at the 2012 European Championships in Holland.
Seaborn’s journey in international field hockey didn’t start with the Under-21 team. She previously represented England’s Under-18 national team, where she achieved significant success. In 2009, she helped secure a bronze medal at the European Championships, and in the following year, she played a crucial role in winning a silver medal at the 2010 Volvo Four Nations Championship.
