He was born and raised by his parents in Northeast Philadelphia. He has not disclosed any information regarding his parents and siblings. Kelly graduated from North Catholic High School and then Temple University.

Bob’s personal life has seen its share of changes and milestones. He was initially married to his first wife, Carrie Kelly, and together they embarked on the journey of parenthood, raising six children.

However, as life often takes unexpected turns, Bob and Carrie eventually made the difficult decision to part ways and officially divorced on March 10, 2008. With his ex-wife Carrie Kelly, He was blessed with two daughters and four sons.

Bob Kelly is a true Philadelphia media legend! Bob’s career started with him spinning tunes as a radio DJ, even working alongside the famous Jerry Blavat, “The Geator” himself. Bob quickly made a name for himself with his infectious personality and love for entertaining.

These days, you can catch Bob as a respected reporter on Fox 29. He joined the team back in 2014, starting as the traffic guy on their popular morning show, “Good Day Philadelphia.” Let me tell you, Bob could turn even the most frustrating traffic jam into an interesting update – that’s how good he is!

But Bob’s not just a Fox 29 guy. For over 15 years, he co-hosted the iconic Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parade! His charisma and genuine connection with the crowd made the parade a must-see event every year.

Before Fox 29, Bob spent 13 years as the traffic anchor at CBS 3 in Philly. Here’s where he got super innovative he was the first traffic guy in the city to use a green screen for his reports! This might seem normal now, but back then, it was a big deal. It helped people visualize what was going on with the traffic.

Bob isn’t just about traffic, though. He’s also a huge sports fan! You might have seen him pumping up the crowd on the Jumbotron at Eagles, Flyers, or Sixers games. He even had his segment called “Tailgate Takeover” before Eagles games a fan favorite that got everyone hyped for the game.

And get this, Bob’s even brought his talents to the radio! He’s appeared on all the big stations in Philly, showing off his personality and connecting with listeners. He knows how to keep things interesting!
