Amelia Reynolds is an English presenter and journalist known for her work at BBC News. She is also a graduate of the University of Exeter in Exeter, England, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and drama.

Amelia was born in 1973, in Fressingfield, Suffolk, England, She serves as the presenter of both BBC Look East at BBC News. Likewise, she presents BBC East’s political program Sunday Politics East.

Initially, Reynolds joined Look East as a researcher in 2000. During this time, she led a report coverage of the planespotters’ trial in Greece. Most recently, she provided BBC’s 40-minute debate on the economy.

Before coming to the station, it is known that Amelia has worked for several cable television companies as a television presenter. She began her broadcasting career as a presenter and reporter at BBC World Service and Radio Four.

Most noteworthy, Reynolds was hired by Red TV as a reporter in Cambridge. Afterward, she moved to Norwich where she worked for LLTV (Local Life TV). Furthermore, she has worked as an Essex reporter and was cast in a film where she played the role of herself.

She is the daughter of Sarah Bellairs Reynolds (mother) and Norman D. Reynolds (father). She experienced her childhood along with her brother. Reynolds is a proud graduate of Stradbroke High School in Stradbroke and Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and drama from the University of Exeter in Exeter, England.

Amelia is currently married to her loving husband, David Whiteley. He is also a journalist who serves as the co-presenter of ITV News Anglia alongside Becky Jago. In their marriage, the couple has been blessed with two wonderful daughters. They are Annabel Sarah May and Cleo Rose Cicely Whiteley. She resides in Norfolk, East Anglia, along with her family.
