In 2018, like a weather system making a triumphant return, Magill came back to Northeast Ohio, rejoining the team at WEWS-TV. His homecoming, however, made him keenly aware of the challenges posed by the notorious lake effect, a meteorological quirk that he hadn’t missed during his time away.
