Russ McCaskey is an American news journalist currently working for WINK-TV as a news anchor. Before joining WINK-TV, Russ worked at KTVT CBS 11 as a morning news anchor. He anchors the Wink News at 4 pm, 6:30 pm, and 10 pm.
McCaskey began his career at KJRH in October 2000 as a news anchor. He worked the for about 15 years before moving to KTVT-TV CBS 11 in Dallas, Texas. At CBS 11, he worked as the evening news co-anchor and reporter. He has covered stories like the Arizona tornadoes, ice storms, executions, and floods.
Russ joined WINK News in October 2020. He anchors at the 4 pm, 6:30 pm, and 10 pm newscasts. He is a 12-time Emmy award winner, AP, and Society of Professional Journalists winner, and was named best news anchor in Oklahoma three years in a row.
