Randi Kaye Biography
Randi Kaye is an American journalist, She currently works with the New York-based CNN network. Anderson Cooper 360’s Randi is an investigative reporter. Randi currently holds an Emmy for both her outstanding reporting on a current business news story from 2006 and her coverage of black market infertility.
At ABC, she began her journalism career. Before moving on to work for Peter Jennings, Randi worked for Nightline. Later, she transferred to KATV in Little Rock, Arkansas. Randi also served as a reporter and anchor for WFAA-TV in Dallas. Randi was the host of the “Everyday Living” program at Minneapolis-based KMSP-TV.
Randi has worked as the newscaster for the 5 o’clock and 10 o’clock newscasts at WWOR-TV in New York, New Jersey, and WCCO-TV in Minneapolis. Randi departed ABC in December 2004 to work as a correspondent for CNN. Randi works for Anderson Cooper 360° as an investigative reporter in addition to being a national correspondent.
Kaye had previously been assigned to host the weekday 1:00–2:00 PM ET news on CNN Newsroom. Randi took over as a weekend anchor after T. J. Holmes left his position as a weekend morning anchor after undergoing so many changes in her responsibilities at CNN.
