Rachael Bade is an American journalist currently working for CNN as a political analyst and for POLITICO. She previously worked at Roll Call as a feature writer and editorial assistant. 

Bade began her career at Congressional Quarterly and Roll Call as a reporter in 2010. She then joined Politico in September 2012 where she covered tax policy and wrote the Morning Tax blog.

Rachel covered the Republican Party’s investigation of the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack and the party’s following scrutiny of Hillary Clinton’s private email use. In 2016, she was promoted to Politico’s Congress team where she wrote about Speaker Paul Ryan’s leadership.

Bade has appeared on other networks such as CBS “Face the Nation”,  ABC’s “This Week,” “Fox News Sunday,” Fox News, MSNBC, and PBS. She also works as a contributor and political analyst for CNN.
