Briscoe began her career at WREX-TV as a reporter. She then joined WANE-TV in Fort Wayne, Indiana as a general assignment reporter before joining WISH-TV in Indianapolis, Indiana. While at WISH-TV, Nicole covered the Indianapolis 500, the NBA’s Indiana Pacers, the United States Grand Prix, and the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts.

Nicole also reported for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network.  She announced that she would be leaving WISH-TV through The Indianapolis Star newspaper.  Her last day was on May 28th, 2006 to join Speed Channel in Charlotte, North Carolina.
