Natasha Bertrand is an American news journalist currently working as a white house reporter for CNN News covering national security. Bertrand joined CNN as a White House reporter covering national security in April 2021.
Bertrand began her work at Business Insider in 2014 as an intern before being hired as a political journalist, mostly covering US foreign policy and national security. She also covered the Steele dossier while at Business Insider.
In 2018, she joined The Atlantic as a staff writer and was soon hired as a political commentator for NBC News and MSNBC. Bertrand joined Politico as a national security journalist in 2019.
She was one of the top journalists covering the US intelligence community and Donald Trump’s impeachment investigation and was selected to Forbes’ “30 under 30 class” of 2021.
