Relerford is the Weekday Morning Co-Anchor for NBC 5 News Today. She returned to NBC 5 News in Chicago in September 2011 as a Reporter and Fill-In Anchor.

Michelle has returned to Cleveland after joining NBC 5 to report on the discovery of three missing girls who were held captive in a home for more than a decade. When former U.S. Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. was released from their jail cell, she relocated to Montgomery, Alabama.
