Mia worked as an anchor and reporter for Houston’s CW 39 for over a decade, giving stories for the local station and station group. She began her career in television behind the scenes in Houston as a writer and production assistant. Mia began her career as an on-air personality in Victoria and Beaumont before returning to her hometown of Houston to anchor, report, and create special programming and news.
Mia is a Sam Houston State University graduate with a degree in Radio/Television and a specialization in broadcast news. In 2016, she was honored and admitted into the university’s Distinguished Alumni Society. She has also been inducted into the Dan Rather Hall of Fame at the institution.
