Melissa Knowles Biography

 Melissa Knowles is an American anchor and correspondent,  based in Atlanta, Georgia. She is an anchor for the CNN-owned basic cable news channel HLN. Knowles hosts The Daily Share, Weekend Express, and Morning Express on HLN.

She presently works at Morning Express on HLN alongside Robin Meade. The basic cable news program HLN is owned by CNN. She started her employment with ESPN in 2007 and continued there till June 2011. Knowles later started working at Yahoo in November 2011! Her stay there lasted till June 2013. She reported on significant stories for Yahoo, including Trending Now and the 2012 Summer Olympics.

In 2013, Knowles covered the presidential inauguration while working as a correspondent for BET News. She has previously served as an anchor and sideline reporter for Fox Sports while covering the Detroit Pistons.

Additionally, Knowles hosted ESPNU’s “Big 12 This Week,” a nationally broadcast weekly collegiate sports program that focuses on the Big 12 Conference. Melissa has covered several college football, lacrosse, and basketball games for the ESPN family of networks from the sidelines over the past five years.
