Marissa Bagg is an American journalist working as a reporter at NBC 6. She has previously worked as a reporter at WPTV Newschannel 5. She is an Edward R. Murrow Regional Award winner and Emmy nominated journalist.
Marissa’s broadcast career led her across the country, stopping in New Mexico, Texas, and Washington state before returning to South Florida as a reporter with WPTV in West Palm Beach. She’s covered hurricanes, huge floods, and other natural calamities.
She also covered President Barack Obama’s and Governor Mitt Romney’s much-anticipated final Presidential Debate of 2012. Her most remarkable story, though, took her to Haiti. She covered the launch of an orphanage named after a Lynn University student murdered in the 2010 earthquake, a tale that has influenced her work to this day.
