Lucy Bustamante is an American morning news anchor and breaking news anchor currently working at NBC10 as a morning news anchor and at Telemundo62 as a breaking news anchor. The two-time Emmy award winner previously worked at WWL-TV in New Orleans.

In the earlier stages of her career, Lucy served as the morning and noon anchor at WVEC-TV in Norfolk, Virginia, prior to her tenure at NBC10. During this time, she simultaneously held the position of morning news anchor at WVXX-La FM’s Selecta 103.3, a Spanish-language radio station, where she provided weekday morning coverage.

She also has experience as an evening anchor at WWL-TV in New Orleans, where she and her colleagues extensively reported on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina over a continuous three-month period.

Bustamante’s notable achievements include her pivotal role in averting an explosion at the Philadelphia Energy Solutions plant in South Philadelphia in June 2019.
