An American native, Linda Carson is a news journalist known for working as a news anchor for WWSB News and the co-host of Suncoast View ABC 7 News. She is the wife of Bud Carson and is a graduate of Mercer University.

Carson had her career start in television broadcasting 26 years back. During this time, she was one of the nation’s first female prime-time news anchors 1965. Likewise, she was one of Atlanta’s first two female television news reporters.
