Okmin began her broadcasting career as a sports reporter and anchor In Montgomery, Alabama, and Chattanooga, Tennessee. She also worked as a sports reporter for the SportsChannel in Chicago, where she accompanied the Bulls on their championship run. She won the Chicago Midwest Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Sports – Single Program Covering Sports while she was in Chicago.

She joined FOX Sports Network as a host/anchor/reporter in 2002 and has worked for the network ever since. Okmin presented three national FSN shows while acting as a reporter for the Orange and Fiesta BCS Bowl Games, in addition to hosting FOXSports.com’s coverage of the 2012 Summer Games in London and the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi.
