Okmin began her broadcasting career as a sports reporter and anchor In Montgomery, Alabama, and Chattanooga, Tennessee. She also worked as a sports reporter for the SportsChannel in Chicago, where she accompanied the Bulls on their championship run. She won the Chicago Midwest Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Sports – Single Program Covering Sports while she was in Chicago.

She joined FOX Sports Network as a host/anchor/reporter in 2002 and has worked for the network ever since. Okmin presented three national FSN shows while acting as a reporter for the Orange and Fiesta BCS Bowl Games, in addition to hosting’s coverage of the 2012 Summer Games in London and the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi. As an AFC reporter, she also contributed to the network’s coverage of the 2018-2019 Divisional Playoffs.
