Kim Brunhuber is a Canadian journalist and writer working for CNN International. He works as the weekend anchor on CNN International hosting the European breakfast edition of CNN Newsroom.
Prior to joining CNN International, he worked for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and its news shows The National as a news anchor and correspondent. Kim covered important U.S. and worldwide news topics throughout his time at CBS, including the 2018 and 2016 Olympics, the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, and Nelson Mandela’s passing.
He started his career as a journalist in 1997, working for CTV in both Halifax and Ottawa. He was the anchor, producer, and reporter for the show. He covered a number of breaking news stories, including the Swissair Flight 111 accident. He flew to Siera Leon as a senior trainer and Journalist for Human Rights during his tenure at CTV and CBS.
