Khambrel Marshall Biography

Khambrel Marshall is an American meteorologist working for KPRC Click to Houston as a meteorologist. Before joining KPRC2, Marshall worked for WFOR TV as the news director, reporter, and anchor. 

Marshall is currently working as a meteorologist at KPRC Local 2 channel. He received the prestigious Emmy award for a feature series called “Guardians at Sea,” which chronicled the United States Coast Guard’s efforts to rescue Cuban and Haitian refugees crossing the Florida Straits. From 1979 to 2010, he worked as a manager, anchor, and meteorologist at various Post News Week television stations.

Khambrel joined WPLG in 1985 and worked as a sports director for 6 years. For the next eight years, he worked as a Director, Anchor, and Reporter for WFOR-TV. Khambrel first worked for KPRC as a member of the KPRC Local 2 Severe Weather Team in 1999.

He also hosts Houston Newsmakers, a weekly topical news show. Westinghouse Corporation presented him with the National Community Service Award. The Fort Lauderdale Jaycees named him “Outstanding Young Floridian” for his humanitarian efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew.

His father served in the United States Army for 30 years, receiving numerous awards, including seven Bronze Stars. Both his parents are deceased. His mother died of cancer in 1983, and his father died in 2017.

Marshall is married to his loving wife Debbie Marshall. In their marriage, Marshall and his wife have been blessed with two daughters Danielle and Cambrelle, and three grandchildren. Marshall and his wife held their wedding on  September 1, 1979, in a wonderful ceremony attended by their family and friends.
