Kate Bilo is an American news journalist currently working as the chief meteorologist for CBS3 News in Philadelphia. Bilo joined the Eyewitness News weather team on CBS 3 and The CW Philly in October 2010.
In October 2010, Bilo became a valuable addition to the Eyewitness News weather team on CBS 3 and The CW Philly. Hailing from Phoenixville, she returned to the Delaware Valley after a successful stint as a meteorologist at AccuWeather in State College, Pennsylvania, where she had been working since 2004.
During her time at AccuWeather, Bilo’s expertise in meteorology shone through as she provided forecasts for various media outlets, including FOX News, CNBC, ABC News Now, and numerous local stations. Notably, she also served as the main morning weather anchor for the Bloomberg Television Network, showcasing her ability to communicate complex weather information effectively.
Bilo’s academic background is equally impressive. In 2003, she graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish and International Business, highlighting her interest in language and global affairs.
