Karys, a Spelman College graduate, is no stranger to Atlanta. She’s been to Fort Myers, Florida, and Buffalo, New York. Karys is relieved to be returning to a city that seems like home.
Her journalism career started in Fort Myers, Florida when she began working for WFTX. Immediately, she started reporting on the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.
