Julie Dobbs is an American sports journalist working for FOX Sports Southwest as a producer and editor. She is also the reporter of the magazine show ‘Stars Insider” on the Dallas Stars. She also broadcasts the network’s weekly “Southwest Outdoors Report.”
From 2010 to 2011, Dobbs worked as a freelance reporter for TXA21’s Friday night baseball coverage of the Texas Rangers.
In addition, for two baseball seasons, she was the live in-game reporter for all Rangers games on TXA21, as well as the reporter for their pre- and post-game shows. Julie covered the squad when they won two straight American League championships.
After graduating from Missouri in 2007, she returned to her hometown to work for the Dallas Cowboys as a reporter for a few of the team’s syndicated television broadcasts. She was a young woman working in a man’s world.
Julie engaged with the national press in the midst of her boss’s outstanding 2007 season. The Cowboys concluded the regular season with a conference-leading 13-3 record. Her contract with Cowboys finally expired, and she went on to her next adventure.
