Joe Pagonakis is an American multimedia journalist working as a reporter and consumer advocate at News 5 in Cleveland. He has previously worked at WYTV-TV and WANE-TV as a reporter. He is also a producer, videographer, digital streamcast explorer, a home theater constructor as well as designer.
Pagonakis worked in the production department from 1981 to 1984 until Ted Henry inspired him to try in the field of reporting. He considers his parents as role models who have helped him achieve much in his career.
He joined News 5 in July 1993. Throughout his career, he has achieved National and regional Emmy awards and nominations as well as National Headliner and Associated Press awards and nominations.
